Whether it’s eating, drinking and conversation, or debate, training and film, the Frontline Club offers everything you could want from a media club. With its history rooted in the freelance video news industry, the Club has drawn together a diverse group of people who share a passion for current affairs. Frontline delivers an extensive programme of public events bringing together many of the world’s best journalists, photographers, filmmakers and thinkers.
Its aim is to promote engagement and dialogue on international affairs, champion independent journalism and provide a diverse range of training for journalists and other media workers. It is also home to The Frontline Fund, formerly the Fixers Fund, and The Frontline Freelance Register, a self-help group for conflict freelancers.
Frontline Club have hosted many debates at Sunday Papers Live over the years – focusing on current affairs and issues such as reporting the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and Syrian conflicts, Trump V Clinton and, of course, Brexit.
Just what they will be commenting on or debating this year remains to be seen, because the news is yet to happen.
