Guerilla Science presents…Space Yoga in association with the UK Space Agency

Science Camp

Stretch like an astronaut with Guerilla Science in association with the UK Space Agency. This intergalactic yoga class will take you on a tour of the cosmos, and reveal what happens to our bodies and minds when we travel to outer space.

Join this spangled cosmic laboratory, as we use real exercise to experiment with gravity and explore weightlessness – uncovering what it really does to our physiology and psychology.

Taught by both a certified instructor and space scientist, interstellar yoga moves will prepare you for space travel and combat the strange out-of-this-world effects of zero gravity environments.

Space Yoga is a revolutionary new approach to practising yoga, combining exercise and space science. Bend in the name of science, and train for your very own mission to space..

About Guerilla Science

Guerilla Science create events and installations for festivals, museums, galleries, and other cultural partners. We are committed to connecting people with science in new ways, and producing live experiences that entertain, inspire, challenge and amaze. All of our projects involve collaborations with practicing scientists, who we work with to develop everything from games and workshops to dining events and theatre.

Hosted by

Her training included a strong focus on anatomy and the science behind how yoga works. She has also recently completed her PhD on animism and climate change at the University of Sussex. Jemma led our Space Yoga sessions at Secret Garden Party 2017.

co-hosted by Andrew Kuh from the UK Space Agency
